catching crabs on the jade belt

my new friends from zhongxin took me along to catch crabs on the jade belt, the sand strip that separates the rivers from the sea. we went there by boat and set out with flashlights and bags. on our way back to the boat we came across some local fishermen and bought some of their fish and crabs. the kind of fish we had is called "boao yu" (boao fish), and is famous because the fish(es) live in both sea and fresh water. later we devoured our catch in a local "restaurant" on the street. a feast.
