the great wall at sancha

on friday christine, stephan, mauricio and i went to sancha in order to climb the great wall the day after. the wall close to the remote village has not (yet?) been restored, and it was a great opportunity for us to experience the countryside around beijing. a local farmer offers transportation to and from the closest town, lodging and food (great fish!) and we enjoyed our stay a lot. here some pics of our evening and morning in sancha.
